IT Hardware Technician On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking multiple IT Hardware Technician for a temp position in Calgary.
IT Hardware Technician - Job Details
Install/move Devices such as Point of Sale Devices (POS) and Scanners Run through pro-active check-list measures prior to office opening. Verify Network connectivity / Wi-fi networks. Ensure devices are up and running prior to business hours. Print and test ticketing system. Provide basic troubleshooting with Hardware devices, internet connectivity and assist users where required.
IT Hardware Technician – Responsibilities
Turn on each computer and launch the Back Office application Verify connection to internet and Back Office login/logout. Print a test ticket from each boca printer. Passwords/Password Resets Permission Updates Creating Operators in Back Office Assist with Reprints/Refunds (if allowed) Finding accounts/orders in Back Office Assist with customer inquiries at the window.
IT Hardware Technician - Mandatory Skills
1+ years of experience in working with non-technical users. 1+ years of experience in a customer-support capacity 1+ years in hardware troubleshooting experience 1+ years of experience troubleshooting with Network/Wi-Fi connectivity Previous experience doing password resets, permission updates, pro-actively checking devices Previous experience with IOS (Apple iphone, etc)
