ImaginAble Solutions creates assistive technology to improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities. We believe self-expression is a human right, and weâre building products that make that possible for millions of people around the world.
Our award-winning product, Guided HandsÂŽ, is an assistive device that enables children and adults with limited hand mobility to write, paint, draw, and access touch-screen devices like iPads. Recognized by Apple as a third-party assistive technology, Guided HandsÂŽ promotes self-expression, communication, and the development of sensory motor skills for people with Cerebral Palsy, ALS, and spinal cord injuries among others. Guided HandsÂŽ is used globally by families, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes, and schools across 25 countries. The device has even been used by Shaquille O'Neal (âShaq-sizedâ of course). The device has earned major international recognition, including the James Dyson Award and the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award. Visit www.imaginablesolutions.com to learn more!
We're a small but mighty team driven by a passion for creating impact in the disability community. We are ambitious, collaborative, and creative, approaching every challenge with a positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to roll up our sleeves and get things done. We celebrate wins together, support one another through challenges, and are united by a common goal: helping more people gain access to independence and self-expression through Guided HandsÂŽ.
We're at an exciting inflection point: proven product, growing demand, and a sales engine ready to be scaled. That's where you come in.
This is a player-coach sales role, not a strategy-from-the-sidelines position. Our CEO drives overall sales strategy; your job is to execute brilliantly, measure everything, and provide data-driven input that shapes strategy on where to pivot, double down, or expand.
Duties and Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for developing and closing the biggest sales opportunities in our education and healthcare sectors. You'll lead a lean but growing sales team: an in-house sales rep and sales administrator in Ontario, a commission-based rep in the U.S., and an outsourced BDR team. As we scale, youâll help bring additional U.S. reps to the team. Youâll also manage our HubSpot pipeline end-to-end, and be the person who knows our conversion rates, forecasts, and ROI.
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
Execute sales strategies across Canada, the U.S., and international markets to drive revenue growth in our core segments: school boards and pediatric rehabilitation centers
Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand sales into adjacent markets and channels
Track sales performance, forecasts, budgets, and ROI to guide decision-making as well as bring proactive recommendations to the CEO based on what the data tells you
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage our sales team as they sell Guided Hands to smaller school boards, pediatric rehabilitation centers, and families
Support the teamâs development and success through coaching, accountability, and performance management
Collaborate with our outsourced BDR agency to ensure continued pipeline growth
Sales Operations & Analytics
Own and optimize HubSpot including pipelines, dashboards, workflows, and reports
Analyze sales metrics, conversion rates, and customer trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies that increase performance across the sales pipeline
Oversee sales processes and follow-up systems to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Market Development
Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts
Build relationships with healthcare, education, and accessibility organizations to expand market presence
Customer Experience & Collaboration
Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales and post-sales journey.
Partner with our Marketing Manager to develop customer success programs, customer engagement initiatives, and upsell opportunities for existing customers
Collaborate with marketing and leadership to plan and execute sales campaigns, product launches, and lead generation initiatives
Represent ImaginAble Solutions at conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings across Canada and the U.S.
Gather customer and market feedback to inform future sales and product strategy
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Haves:
5+ years of B2B sales experience, with 2 years of experience managing or leading sales reps
A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets, managing a complex sales pipeline, and using data to improve pipeline performance
Advanced proficiency in HubSpot - you've built and managed pipelines, dashboards, workflows, and reports
Strong coaching and performance management skills
Able to travel across Canada and the U.S. for conferences, meetings, and events (valid passport required)
Strategic, creative, highly self-motivated, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a rapidly evolving environment
Highly metrics- and mission-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with empathy, compassion, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities
A positive, can-do attitude with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset - you're comfortable executing, not just directing
Strong Assets:
A bachelor's degree in business, health sciences, kinesiology, or a related field is an asset
Experience in assistive technology, medical devices, or hardware products, especially at a startup or scale-up environment
Experience selling to school boards, healthcare organizations, or other institutional buyers with longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Familiarity with international market expansion and reseller partnerships
Application closes when an applicant is chosen
