Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).

Experience using SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

Experience developing software applications using the C++ programming language.

As a part of AViD, Google’s App Ads, Video Ads, and Display ads organization, you will contribute to fulfilling Google's mission of making information universally accessible, building software that empowers content publishers, app developers and advertisers to monetize their content and apps, while connecting customers to businesses that help them grow. As a part of a team operating at massive scale across

disciplines such as machine learning, big data, front-end engineering, distributed systems, and advanced data mining, you will help create the network and ecosystem that makes great content free, accessible, and enjoyable Internet users worldwide. You will be responsible for end-to-end project ownership for improving Google ads buying on display ad exchanges through bid optimization and prediction quality improvements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Role Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices amongst available technologies (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Implement solutions in one or more specialized ML areas, utilize ML infrastructure, and contribute to model optimization and data processing.
