About this event
As AI moves into the physical world, we need a new way to understand both technology and human growth. MapleHub AI Workshop #3 brings together two accessible talks: one on how embodied intelligence is taking AI from the digital world into real-world systems, and another on why connection, trust, and the ability to create results are becoming essential measures of growth and competitiveness in the AI era. Topic 1 is presented by Pengyi Liao, a 2012 alumnus of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Qiming Honors Program at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, now with Huawei Canada Research Institute's 2012 Laboratories. Topic 2 is presented by Liqing Pan, an HUST Optoelectronic Information alumnus and the founder and director of Agentize.AI, drawing on years of entrepreneurial practice and work on personal and organizational development. Special FIRA celebration: bring one new friend who registers and attends, and both of you will receive a FIRA-style AI sticker sheet. Children can also continue enjoying the interactive AI games featured at FIRA and experience the creativity and fun of AI. Organized by the Huazhong University of Science and Technology Toronto Alumni Association. Co-hosted by OneDealOutlet, Prompthon.IO, Agentize, New Matrixus Consulting, and Jess T&W. In-person capacity is limited, so please register early. MapleHub AI Workshop is held on the last Saturday afternoon of each month.

An accessible introduction to the history, representative applications, and future direction of embodied intelligence.
Topic 2 — In the AI Era, We Need a New Measure of Growth and Competitiveness
Speaker: Liqing Pan
A discussion of connection, trust, and the ability to create results as new dimensions for personal growth, career competitiveness, and children's development.
FIRA Celebration
Bring one new friend who registers and attends, and both of you receive a FIRA-style AI sticker sheet. Children can continue exploring the interactive AI games featured at FIRA.
